To be in the right Festival Mood I chose these shoes:

In the middle a flower pin I made @ Mi Ami workshop. On the left side ipad-case I started to make out of PVC recycled material @ Mi Ami (sponsored by Garbage Lab www.garbagelab.it ), it still needs to be sewed.

Colorful Summer 2012

It's never too late to continue talking about shoes. And you can ALWAYS find something new to say about them....

So, I was thinking about the Season's Summer Shoes: Espadrillas are back! (in case you didn't already know...)

Personally, I started to dream of a short holiday on the Greek islands, wearing a white dress and a pair of these....something like this:

I was so into Melissas the other day that I wanted to go and check the Plastic Love shop in Via Tortona. I just wanted to take a look on the summer collection and choose some styles for a future shopping...But I found something else!

They were all so beautiful...the ones with the higher heel were so COOL. but in the end I made a wise decision:

I bought the ones with the lower heel! (so wise decision indeed!)

That was 1st of March, +16°c and a perfect evening to have some aperitivo on the terraces of Corso Garibaldi in Milan...

Summer, or at least Spring, is about to be here...and I am starting to pull out my treasures out of the several shoe boxes in the wardrobes and cellar.
Every year I get surprised of how many shoes I have and still...."nothing to wear"! It's so great to discover some surprises I already forgot to have during the winter...like the adorable Melissa Shoes from Brazil!

At the moment I have collected five pairs of them..actually one is on sale @ebay at the moment...and I was thinking of ordering some new stuff for the Spring, bit I just got the GREAT NEWS that they have opened a shop in Milan!

I have to say that the idea of the plastic shoes was not really something I was searching for, but after trying these I just had to change my mind! The don't smell...they have actually a good fragrant, even after you use them...really! And they are so easy to wash!


You never forget your First Love. Vivienne Westwood for Melissa. My absolutely favorite pair!

And this one is called "Mermaid"

And this style...I don't know the name of it. But it works also as a sort of a Rain boot for Ladies :-)
